Well it's about time!!!



Well here it is...my humble attempt at blogging my contributions to the wonderful world of photography. I hope you like it. If you do, please follow and please leave comments! Each one will be read with care and much appreciation. My first blog entry is dedicated to my first outing as a member of the professional media at a big league sporting event. The Kansas City Wizards vs. the Columbus Crew, Sunday, May 23, 2010. The Wizards lost 1-0, but I had a blast being in photographer's row. I also got my baptism by fire about 10 minutes into the game as I positioned myself just to the side the of the Wizards goal and was promptly greeted by a 90 mph power kick that glanced off my lens and almost took my head off! But I live to tell the tale and share the pics. Much thanks to Stephanie Reyes and Jeff (aka Merlin) at the Wizards for making it happen. Here's hoping it's the first of many! (more pics in the post to follow)
